Edwin Dunson

Edwin Dunson was the youngest child, and youngest of twin boys, born to Clarence and Janie Dunson, in Midland, Texas, on March 15, 1960. He was raised in Midland and attended Midland public schools. Edwin entered eternal rest on May 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his big brothers, Henry Robertson and Melvin Dunson. He was known as 'Kool', and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Janie Roberts, and father, Clarence Dunson, both of Midland; two daughters, Keisha Tryon of Midland and Ashley Freeman of Arizona; and two sons, Terrell Dunson of Midland and Toronto Clay Williams of Odessa, Texas. He also leaves three sisters, Gloria Burton, Sandra Dunson, and Marsha Dunson, all of Midland; two brothers, his twin and other half, Edward Dunson of Dallas, Texas, and Joseph Dunson of Midland. Edwin will also be loved and remembered by his four grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 2400 E. New York Ave., Midland, TX 79701. Burial will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Jackie Warren Funeral Home.
