Ms. Elyse Vandyke Jackson, age 40, was born to Ronald and the late beloved Marilyn Vandyke on February 16th, 1984 in Midland, TX. She was affectionately called home March 24, 2024.
Elyse was known for having a sweet spirit and loved by everyone. She was a Godly woman who was called into the ministry with a servant's heart. She obtained an Associates Degree from Midland College and was pursing her Bachelor's Degree from The University of North Texas up until her diagnosis, she wanted to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. She was passionate about working with and helping women who were currently, and/or had been in abusive relationships. Elyse could light up a room and always had a glow, she was contagious to everyone in her presence. Her deep love for the Lord was evident by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Those left to cherish her memories are her father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Dorothy Vandyke. Beautiful Daughters, Sidney Camille Jackson, Inysah Giselle Jackson and McKenzie Roby Jackson; Brother, Michael Vandyke; Grandmother, Addie Vonsiebenhoven; as well as an abundance of many loved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins ranging from Midland, California, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Virginia, Florida to Las Vegas. She is also survived by her God Parents, Patrick and Charlotte McGrew and Godchildren, many close friends and fiancée Terrance Johnson who has been closely by her side until God called her home to rest.
Elyse will be in our hearts and memories forever.
