Frances Phillips Obituary

Chapel services for Frances Phillips, 77, of Midland, are scheduled for 2:00 p. m. Friday, December 7, 2007 at Tyler Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robby Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in McDonald Cemetery in New Summerfield, Texas under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Phillips was born August 3, 1930 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late R. W. and Jessie Kirkpatrick Oden and passed away December 4, 2007 in Midland, Texas. Mrs. Phillips was a former resident of Tyler. She moved to Midland in 2006. She retired after 25 years of service with Tyler Pipe Credit Union, worked with Parents without Partners and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul C. Boss and a son Douglas Paul Boss.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by son, Ray and wife Jacquie Boss of Midland; grandchildren, Wendy Lee Boss of Tyler, Jacob Edward Mendor of Midland, Elizabeth Marie Boss of Midland, Catherine Marie Boss of Midland, Alexandria Marie Boss of Midland; great grandchildren, Morgan Lee Wandall of Tyler, Charles Cameron Wandall of Tyler and Douglas Chance Powell of Las Vegas, NV.

Visitation will from 6 to 8 p. m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Raymond: I worked with Frances at the CTCU for years in the 60's. My oldest boy, Mark, went to nursery school with you at Mrs. Cotton's. Haven't been able to be in touch with Francis since I couldn't find out where she was located! Hope you & your family are well.
