Met Joe Don in newspapers years ago, and admired his many talents, including his founding and skillful publishing of the Plainview Reporter News. He engaged in a skillful, healthy competition with the existing daily, enhancing the local reportorial atmosphere. So glad to visit with him at the 2015 PHS reunion. Rest in peace. My condolences to his family.

Praise to God, our Savior and Provider.
To God who knows our hearts, who knows our pains, who feels our deepest longings.
Praise god who heals and refreshes the Earth at his beckoning.
When all fails, God's love is always there -- always!
God is always God.
Praise to God Almighty!

I've never known anyone who worked harder to be a better person and who was so tireless in his efforts to share his experience, strength and hope with others. I loved him very much and am proud to be his daughter-in-law. We will miss him terribly.

Color of life.

Rest with God Christian brother. The Angels rejoice when one of their own comes home. We will miss your smile, laughter, and the bringing of the doughnuts to our prime timer's (the gold fish) class at GCR. To the family we wish to convey our condolences and know that we all one day will see him again.
