Julius Avery Roberson

Julius Avery Roberson, age 34, of Midland, Texas passed away Thursday, November 18th, 2021. He is survived by his parents, Tychicus & Tammy Roberson; his sister Christy Pullen & Christopher Knight; his nephews, Julius Ryan Kade Pullen & Tychicus Lorea Kason Pullen; his sister Rebecca Oldham & Kyle Oldham; his brother, Tychicus Lon Roberson II; his brother in law, Brian K. Pullen; and numerous aunts, uncles & cousins. Preceding him in death was his grandparents, Julius Cecil & Lillian Rosemond Roberson; his grandparents, Charles Edward & Winnie Christine Mansell; and his cousin/best friend, Cheyenne Drew Mansell. Avery grew up in Midland where he attended Midland Christian School. Avery was considerably more than his struggles. He loved to watch football with his family, read literature, listen to music and spend hours learning about the world around us. Avery was one of the most erudite people you'd ever meet. He never knew a stranger and would always make you feel welcomed. Anyone that genuinely knew him, knew he had a big heart that he wore on his sleeve. He could make you laugh even when you were mad at him. He loved fiercely and deeply and we can take comfort in knowing that Avery is now at peace surrounded by light. A chapel service for Julius will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home, 801 Andrews Hwy, Midland, Texas 79701.
