Dear Runkel family,
My heart is extremely saddened. Kevin was a true friend. He is responsible to getting me going back to church as a young man. He would show up at my front door on Sunday morning and say " Wanna go to church ? " I said " Not today. " for several weeks. He diligently continued to pursue and finally I had no excuses left to give him. I remember being baptized with him one Sunday at church. So Thank you Kevin. I will never forget the impact you made on my life.

I just saw Kevin's obituary, and I'm shocked and saddened to learn of his passing. He was definitely one of a kind - super intelligent but also humorous. My heart goes out to you, Renee, and to all of his loved ones. May God bless and comfort you now and always.
