Dear Richard,

Words pale when trying to convey the sense of loss that our family shares with yours at the passing of your beloved brother. Our hope is that your family would feel the boundless love and comfort of the Lord and the care and concern of those who hold you dear. May God bless and keep you through this day, and in days to come with the healing love of his Son. Mom, Geri and I have prayed that you and your family would continue to experience his everlasting peace...

All our love,

We will remember Lonnie as our friend an neighbor for many years and, most of all, for the love he had for his wife and family. He was always willing to help others, and we know he was a wonderful husband and father. Our hearts and thoughts are with all of you.

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

"What is Life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset. (Crowfoot 1890)

I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to you all. I imagine it is impossible to feel fortunate about sharing your life with dear Lonnie when the loss is so raw. Wishing you love and peace during these days. Blessed be.

I have never known anyone like my"stick man." As children, we were best friends. Though our busy lives have kept us apart, he is forever in my heart. I cherish all the wonderful childhood memories at our Mamma's house and all the trouble that we managed to get into together. Those memories bring laughter in the darkest of moments. You will never be forgotten.
