Lyddia Roe Obituary

Lyddia A. Roe passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at the Hospice of Midland Inpatient Unit.

She was born on August 9, 1935 in Indian Gap, Texas, to Archie and Viola Cox. She was married to the late Garland Guy Roe. She was a homemaker all of her life. Lyddia was of the Assembly of God faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Garland Guy Roe, in addition to two grandsons, Adrian Shane Roe and Garland James Roe.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 27, 2004 in the Pipkin Chapel at 3:00 PM with Pastor M.R. Thomason officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Dean Roe, Jerry Lee Roe, and David Roe, all of Midland; one daughter, Helen Potter of Midland; two brothers, Clarence Cox of Odessa, Texas, and Robert Cox, of Big Spring, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Sabin Potter, Brian Massingill, Gabriel Dye, Archie Cox, Keith Cox and Larry Holiedy.

Memorials maybe directed to the American Diabetes Association.

Services are entrusted to Pipkin Funeral Home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at: [email protected].
