Marcos Antonio Ruiz

Marcos Antonio Ruiz, 15, of Midland, passed away on Friday, February 19,2021. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021, and Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Abundant Life Ministries Church, 511 S. Stonewall, Midland, TX 79701. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Abundant Life Ministries Church, 511 S. Stonewall, Midland, TX 79701, with Pastor Jesse Arizpe officiating. Marcos Antonio Ruiz was born in Midland to Amanda Marie Murillo on February 28, 2005. He attended school at Midland High School. He was a full-time student and was involved in the Boy's and Girl's Club, Spirit and Truth Dance Ministries as well as having his own youth bible study group. He was an active member of Abundant Life Ministries Church. Marcos was preceded in in death by his grandfather Ignacio Camacho; great-grandmother Martina Losoya Rivera, and great-grandfather Jesse Manuel Leon. He is survived by his mother Amanda Marie Murillo; sister Jaylee Marie Murillo; brother Daniel Silverio Murillo; aunt Alicia Cheyenne Castaneda; uncle Felix Barron Hall; grandparents Ermelinda Barron Hernandez and Miguel Castaneda. Pallbearers will be Felix Barron Hall, Jason Skylar McCaig, Domingo Hernandez, Jr., William Joseph Richardson, Corky Joseph Hardee, and Gregory Wayne Gray. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Marlena Flores, Abundant Life Ministries, and all those who helped and contributed.
