Marjorie Locker Obituary

Marjorie Locker, longtime Midland resident, died Monday, August 28.

Rosary will be recited at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel, today, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. The family will receive guests from 5:30- 7 p.m.

Funeral mass will be directed by Father James Bridges at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 4601 Neely, Friday, September 1, at 11 a.m. Interment is to be at Holy Cross Mausoleum in San Antonio, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. To place online condolences visit www.mem.com.

She was born April 2, 1922, in Manhattan, KS. Her parents, Stephen P. Clark and Gertrude Fisher. She married William M. Roberts, USN, whom she later divorced.

Then in the 1970's she met Walter A. Locker Sr., they were married in 1972.

She is survived by her children, Marilyn Bartlett, CRNA, of Corpus Christi; William J. Roberts and daughters, Meredith Roberts, of Oak Ridge, TN; and Amy Roberts of Corte Madera, CA. She also leaves one sister, Cece Perry of Orange Park, FL; three brothers, Raymond Clark of Miami, FL; Gilbert Clark of San Antonio, TX; and Richard Clark of Hendersonville, NC; and many other nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Catholic Relief Services or the charity of your choice be given as a memorial gift in Mrs. Locker's name.
