It saddens me to see that Ms. Easterly has passed. Although I have not seen her in more than two decades, I often think about her. In fact, I was just thinking about her yesterday. She was an involved class mother when I was growing up. She was impressive -she was always smiling and interacted well with our class. Without a doubt you could tell she was a good mother. RIP Ms. Easterly. Although I barely knew you, I honestly think knowing you as a child made me a better mother.

You are a diamond. You never hesitated to help support, teach and love everyone around you. You are one tough, but loving lady. You were my inspiration and made me proud to be a tomboy. I don't think there was anything you couldn't rebuild or overhaul. I know it sounds silly, but watching you do all those things when I was a kid was validation that I could do anything I wanted. At your house, there were no "girl" or "boy" jobs-just business to be handled, and you hamdled it. A lady that can cook, rebuild a carburetor and sheetrock a wall? Just wow. I love you and say hi to My Dad, Grandma, my nephew lil Mark Anthony and to all our crazy family up there. Hug them all for me and tell them I'll see them later.
Bobby, your Mom was an amazing lady. My thoughts are with you, your wife and those handsome boys.

So sorry for your loss Bobby, Eva, and kids. Mammie will always be one of the most caring and loving women I will ever know. She holds a close spot to my heart. Knowing she is rejoicing with her loved ones is a true blessing. All our love,

To the world's best mammie and friend. The boys and i will forever love and miss you deeply. We take peace in knowing that all your pain and troubles are gone and your reunited with everyone again. You will be in our hearts always. The boys gained another special angel to watch and protect them. Love u
