My family met Senior Pat in July 1989 in Mesilla, New Mexico. He was overjoyed to meet us and he teased us incessantly.. He always said the funniest things.. it wouldn´t be surprised if you were offended, however, everyone knew senior Pat was a big tease, and he would never intentionally hurt someone´s feelings. But that´s who he was he was himself.. anyone who knew him as a friend excepted him as one of their own. Pat was very talented.. He loved to decorate for people during the holidays and he was very good at it.. After he moved back to Ruidoso, we would go visit with him, and just chat about the good old days in our stores across the street from each other. I was always amazed by him and I know so many people loved him.. I´m glad I was able to see him often. We would sit and laugh and play games together.. senior Pat was a true friend. A person that I will always be grateful that I knew and a person that I´m so sad to hear had passed away.. may God bless you senior Pat!!! Love, Lori

Pat was the kindest man. He treated my mom like a queen when she went into his kitchen shop in midland. And always had some little thing for me to do in the kitchen while she shopped.

My sincere condolences to the family. I will never forget Pat. Such a kind and considerate man. He would write the sweetest notes to me....it always made my day. Thank you my friend for the lovely memories. My prayers are for you always
