Patsy Lusk Obituary

Patsy Faye Lusk, 77, passed away on August 26, 2017 in Odessa, Texas after being in pain for many years. Patsy was married to her beloved husband Anthony (Tony) Leo Lusk for 58 years. Patsy was born in February 19, 1940 in Lovington, New Mexico and raised in Plains, Texas by her parents William Henry Anderson and Maggie Leone Anderson. There she met and fell in love with and married her Tony on March 29, 1957. They then moved to California where Patsy became a stay-at-home mom to two children, Nita and Anthony, Jr. In 1978, the family moved to Midland, Texas where she began her carrier in banking and eventually retired from Wells Fargo. Her devotion to her family and her love for the Lord gave her strength and peace throughout her life and until the very end. Patsy was a devoted member of Christian Church of Midland for many years. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Anyone that knew her would say that she was a good listener and always offered great advice. Her husband Tony would say, "Patsy has a great capacity to love." Patsy loved reading her Bible and Bible study. Her favorite story is the birth of Jesus our Lord and Savior. Her favorite bible verse is Solomon 6:3 - I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine. Patsy is survived by daughter, Juanita Leone Lusk Reynolds; brother, Robert Anderson and wife Vicki; daughter-in-law, Pamela Lusk; sisters-in-law, Shirley Anderson, Doshia Bryant, and Laverne Newsom; brothers-in-law, David Lusk and Bobby Bryant; grandsons, John Weinzel and wife Jessica, Mike Williams, Steven Weinzel, Will Lusk, and Seth Lusk; granddaughters, Maggie Lollar and husband James, and Heather Fleming; 11 great-grandchildren; and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, William (Cotton) Anderson and Maggie Leone Anderson; her beloved husband, Anthony Leo Lusk, together again forever; her son, Anthony Leo Lusk, Jr.; brother, Henry Allen Anderson; grandson, Joshua Williams; son-in-law, Stacy Reynolds; and her friend of a lifetime, Karen Anderson.
