On behalf of our family, thank you all for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. The visitation and funeral service brought so many friends and loved ones together to celebrate Randy's life. We are comforted to know that he did indeed know Christ and had trusted him as his savior. Therefore, we know where he is and that we will join him one day. (That was our reason for selecting "When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be" as one of the songs in today's service.)
We appreciate all of you have supported us during this, the most difficult time of our lives.

I stayed with Randy last year he is the dearest of friends; a brilliant man with a wealth of knowledge not just of computers but the buoyant grace of the angels in expressing emotion through his music; I am a professional nurse, writer, a mother of five beautiful daughters, and can tell you of the living memory I have; Randy loved chicken and I'd go to HEB and we'd split one (cooked up) eat French bread, potato salad--if he did not want to eat I made him simple as that. Randy and I were both "loners" but could share space and be together and yet have creative oneness. We would talk God for hours at a time I had one and I wanted Randy to have one too; for the answers were there just "turn it all over to Him for He does not wash dishes or wipe our butts those things we have to do, but He will take all the pain and turn it to a miracle my dear friend if you only let Him," and today I see my dear Randy sitting with God at peace without suffering. I love you Randy Holman, and meeting your beautiful daughter and sharing the life and beauty in her eyes is enough for me; she will carry you through to those on earth who did not meet you, and we will meet again my friend yes and share more talk, laughter, and our tears. May God bless you (Kate, Jim, little Katie, and other family) in the sunlight of our Father, amen...

Being my cousin, I have many fond memories of Randy. Being his magic tricks, which he loved doing magic shows for the family. Loved it when he dressed like Fonize ( how he like Happy Days) He also enjoyed star wars. Randy and I always had a blast.

Jim, Kae, James and Evelyn, I was so sorry to hear of Randy's death. It doesn't seem like that long ago that all of our children were just little ones. There is nothing I can say to make it feel different except that I care and love you all. We lost Rick's only child and daughter in July - and are now raising her 11 year old. The grief is almost unbearable. God will sustain you - HE has been faithful to us. God bless you - and know you are in our prayers.
