Rene Jaquez, Jr. Rene Jaquez, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2009. He was born to Rene Jaquez, Sr. and Connie Royval Pemberton on August 1, 1975 in El Paso, Texas. Rene was raised and educated in Midland and ended his education in El Paso. He was devoted to his family and friends. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. Rene was an avid UTEP Miner football player and sports fan. Rene was preceded in death by his grandfather, "DAD" Salvador Royval, Sr. and his uncle, Salvador Royval, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Connie Pemberton; his sister, Bernadette Jaquez Ramos; brothers, Aaron Diaz and Adrian Diaz; his beloved grandmother, Concepcion Royval; his daughter, Kaitlyn Jaquez and son Elijah Michael Jaquez. He also leaves behind his fiancée, Memory Awbrey; his loving aunts, Mary Helen Maese, Rosario Calzada, and Lucy Gonzalez; his favorite uncle, Bobby Royval; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, who he loved with all his heart. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
