Robert Westin Obituary

Robert Sven Westin Robert Sven Westin of Frisco, TX formerly of Midland passed away June 12, 2009 in Frisco. Robert was born October 2, 1938 to Sven and Ludmilla Westin. He was their only child. His parents preceded him in death. Bob was raised in in Milwaukee, WI where he graduated from Wauwatosa High School, Class of 1956. He attended the University of Milwaukee. After college, he lived in New York City and Honolulu, HI before relocating to Midland,TX in 1979. Bob married Susan January 17, 1981 in Midland, TX. On May 2, 1991 they welcomed Ben Gould Westin, Victoria Rose Westin, and Robert Spencer Westin. Ben, Victoria, and SPencer were the pride and joy of Bob's life. In addition to Susan, Ben, Victoria, and SPencer, Bob is survived by a daughter Jennifer Westin Asp of Seattle, WA, son-in-law Victor Asp, grandchildren Elizabeth, Sarah, Anthony Asp, cousin Magnus Goransson of Sandviken, Sweden, neices Margaret Rendall, Melissa Rendall, Landry Moore, nephews Michael Gould, Lucas Moore. Additional survivors are Sue Gould, Jackie and Robert Rendall, Ben and Ursula Gould, and Kathleen and Alan Moore. Services will be held Tuesday, June 16th at 2:30 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4701 Hedgecoxe, Plano, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the mercy fund or debt retirement funds at Trinity Presbyterian.
