Romayne Pike

Romayne Yvonne Pike, 83, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 17, 1931, in Dubuque, Iowa, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab in Caseyville, Ill.

Romayne was a 1949 Collinsville High School graduate; she also attended S.W.I.C. and St. Louis University. She was a retired secretary and cashier for Parks College and St. Louis University. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, past president of the Caseyville PTA, past president of Caseyville Junior Women's Club, and a member of Caseyville VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Caseyville Moose Lodge. She enjoyed bingo, traveling, quilting, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruben Frank and Wandalee Lora, nee Lawson, Luther; and her other mom, Ada Lee Luther.

Surviving are three daughters, Lora (Mike) Tognarelli of Collinsville, Ill., Paula (Chip) Peila of Franklin, Tenn., and Diane (Jim Courtney) Moore of Collinsville, Ill.; a son, Greg (Dawn) Pike of Marion, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday July 27, 2015, at the funeral home with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
