Sandy Gant Obituary

Sandy Gant, 49, of Odessa, died Monday, February 2, 2009 at her residence.

Celebration of life services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 6, 2009 at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roy Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.

Sandra Gant was born September 18, 1959 in Topeka, Kansas to Marvin and Jo Ann Flaming. Sandy graduated from Topeka High School then followed her brother to Odessa, Texas shortly after.

Sandy's world revolved around her 2-year-old grandson Talan Thomas, she would drive to Midland each Thursday to spend several hours with him.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Jo Ann Flaming.

Sandy is survived by her children, Andrea Thomas and husband Justin and beloved grandson Talan Thomas all of Midland; brother, Greg Flaming and wife Cristina of Kansas; sister, Julie Heston and husband Robert of Kansas; and many other family members from Kansas that she dearly loved and spoke about very often.
