Thom was one of my best friends in MIdland, and we spent many weeks with breakfast meetings. I have been away for 2 years, and was very sad when I heard the news. One of the few people here that every meeting we had was edifying. Our meetings and discussions will be sorely missed. We tried in late years of 1999 and early years to make a deal with the Chinese on some of his gas properties, but at the time the Chinese felt the deal was too small. ( I knew then the head of CNOOK, and met with him in China several times). We initially met at a local store, and the friendship blossomed. I will truly miss our times together, a hope Chrissy is doing all right. Blessings to all his family, he was a truly great man in my life. with condolences, George Lohmann, MD FACS FAANS

Dear Chrissie--I have been away in Seattle for many months now, and had sent Thom a number of texts, and phone messages, and did not hear back from him, and was quite concerned, and finally did a search that gave me the sad news. Thom was a wonderful friend to me for many years, and admired him greatly as a friend and mentor. He was so enamoured with you, and it was a great joy to see him back with you. I had not seen the two of you since that estate sale, and continued to pray for Thom several times a day for his healing. I hope you are well, and if you remain in Midland, when I get back, it would be an honour to have you as my guest for a luncheon. May GOD Bless you. Best George
