I left Indianola in 1956 and, on a lark, I did a search on old friends left in Indianola. I was pleased to find Billy but sorry I was to late to establish contact. RIP Billy.

I just found out about Mr. Hoymans passing and am very sad to have missed the funeral. I became very close to him at Wright Elementary while he was our counsellor. He was always willing to talk and would help however he could. We even wrote a song together about bullying. Ill never forget him singing with his guitar and his huge foam cowboy hat! I attribute who I am today from his example. He will be missed.

Mr.Hoyman meant a lot to me. He was my elementary counselor and we also worked on vocabulary problems. He counseled me from 1st-5th grades. He was the first man influence that made me believe in myself. He was a gentle soul. Thank you Mr.Hoyman, You are appreciated and missed.

I was sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I remember going over to Bill and Jane's house when I was young with my parents, and it was always a fun time. I bet my dad is up there right now showing him around and having a good laugh with an old friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Jane.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. After we found out we were neighbors he showed such an interest in my son's desire to play guitar that he lent him many instructional cds. I wish I'd had gotten to know him better.

Bill had a wonderful and unique sense of humor. Rick and I would always drive by your place on the river whenever we were in Prairie du Chein to see if you were there and sometimes we'd get lucky and find you at home. Rick always enjoyed your stories, jokes and your special songs! Rest in peace Bill and tell Rick I send my love!
