William Raymond "Bill" Watson

Raymond Watson William "Bill" Raymond Watson, 81, of Midland, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017. Bill was born in Houston, Texas on September 18, 1936 to William O. Watson and Ruby Sue Watson. He graduated from San Jacinto High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston. Bill married Racine Hollingsworth Watson on August 8, 1956. They were married for 61 years and were members of the Church of Christ. Bill was an Mechanical Engineer for Edo Aire-Mitchell and Hughes for over 50 years. He enjoyed skeet shooting and spending time with his family. He was a Registered Professional Engineer Elite, a Lifetime Member of the Texas Professional Engineering Board, and was recently honored by the Governor of Texas for his 50 years of dedication and service. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and a very dedicated Christian. Bill is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Racine Watson; his two daughters, Glenda Kelly and Tina Fina Lineback and her husband Wilbur; four granddaughters, Kristina Estes, Amanda Estes, Audra Bowman and husband Bryson, and Miranda Hocutt; three great-granddaughters, MKaela Walls, Karlee Walls, and Jaedin Estes; his sister, Barbara Hoza; and Karen, David, and Steve Hoza of Houston, Texas and other family members. Bill's "Celebration of Life" Wake will be held at Ellis Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All visitors are welcome. The family of William R.
