His wife, Dora Jean, was also able to travel with him on many of his assignments. They enjoyed traveling the world together and took delight in the souvenirs and memories that they collected along the way. Riggs and his partner Levi Estes of Lamesa and great granddaughters, Vivian Liscum of Houston and Genevieve Riggs of Midland. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Jean; his brother, Bob Wohlfeld, sister, Natalie Stewart and his grandson, Frazier Riggs. It was Bill's wish that he be cremated and his ashes buried next to Dora Jean at Erath Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Dublin HWY 377 in Stephenville, Texas. I worked at Mining Technologies Inc. in Sudbury and I was always impressed by Bill's in depth knowledge. He could make presentations with limited notes and discuss drilling products with engineering details that made the subject extremely interesting. I wish to extend my sincere condolences to Bill's family.

I had the opportunity to work with Bill at Mining Technologies International Inc. here in Sudbury and North Bay Ontario Canada.
His Engineering abilities were second to none. He and I became friends and we chatted on the phone for the almost 7 years since I retired.
My condolences to his family, he spoke very highly of you all.
He will be missed by many of us here in Canada.

Bill was at Drilco Industrial when I was there in the late 80s. As far as engineering drilling tools for the mining industry Bill was one of the best. Worldwide.
I enjoyed our phone conversations over the last 10 years. We became friends. He will be missed
