I did not know Blake for a very long time, only sharing time and stories now and again at the Hemmingway - but I remember well his kind words, playful spirit and his love whenever he spoke of his children and family. I am very sorry to learn of his departure and my prayers go out to his family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting his daughter. It is obvious that he was a great father, and his qualities were passed on down to the next generation. I have heard of only some of his deeds, and I know he shall be remembered as a genuine man of honor. May God comfort, and bless his friends, and family.

I never met Mr. Yarborough personally but I know of his kindness through the friendship I've developed with his daughter Jordan... He clearly raised good and caring children and will be sadly missed yet happily remembered by those who knew him... My prayers are with all of you.
