Yolanda Dominguez

Yolanda Garcia Dominguez Yolanda Garcia Dominguez, 62 of Midland, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 after passing away at Midland Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 18, 1947 in El Mulato, Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico. She was also raised and educated in El Mulato, Chihuahua. Yolanda later moved to Ojinaga where she met and later married Marcelino Dominguez in 1958. The couple made their home in Midland in 1970. Yolanda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling, dancing, and cooking for family and friends. She was a homemaker all her life and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ovidio Garcia and Oscar Garcia. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 51 years, Marcelino Dominguez of Midland; Four sons, Victor Manuel Garcia and Martin Dominguez both of Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico and Raul (Rudy) Dominguez and Jesse Dominguez both of Midland; A daughter, Rosa Dominguez of Midland; Two brothers, Jose Carrasco of Midland and Eleazer Mendoza of Arizona; Her mother, Socorro Carrasco of Midland; Two sisters, Maria Mendoza of Odessa and Elma Rangel of Idaho; Eighteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all her family. A rosary will be held tonight at 7:00 pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Chapel. Funeral Mass is set for Friday, August 14 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Edward de Leon, OMI officiating. Interment will follow to Serenity Memorial Gardens.
