Bobby Moorefield passed away on April 6, 2015 in Pell City, Alabama. He was born on September 28, 1936 in Mount Airy, N. C. Bobby was the son of Magdalene and Joe Moorefield (deceased). He leaves a daughter, Natalie Champagne (husband, Brandon) and grandchildren, Harrison and Carter; a son, Chad Moorefield (wife, Tori) and granddaughters, Sierra and Abby; brother, Dan Moorefield (wife, MaryEllen) and aunt, Lolene Moorefield. Bobby was an Army veteran and employed by Atlantic Marine until his retirement. Those who knew Bobby always remember his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh and was always thoughtful toward others. I believe that he thought that laughter was the path to friendship and consequently he made this a better world. He continued to perfect his golf swing until the very end. That golf swing will be perfect where he is going. May he rest in peace. Hit'm straight my brother! Love you and will miss you dearly.

We are sure going to miss our tele. chats with Bob, which were frequently. He always made us laugh, what a sense of humor. We have lost a great friend, but know we will see him again some day. Jim and Barbara Edmiston, Asheville, NC
