He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1974 to 1976 in Pennsylvania. People he taught and served there still recall his humble dedication to the gospel of Jesus Christ. After his missionary service, he attended Brigham Young University, where he met Carolyn Hiatt. After managing the Mount Airy Radio Shack store, Geoff started his own computer sales and service company in Mount Airy. In his church, he was a dedicated servant who ministered to others with encouragement, testimony, and love. A friend to everyone he met, he will be remembered as a kind, humble peacemaker who treated all people as children of God. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 3rd at Moody Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 162 Temple Lane, Mount Airy. Burial will follow in the James Monroe Hiatt Cemetery.
