Margaret Frances Hiatt Frazier, 89, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 2, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital. Ms. Frazier was born Sept. 14, 1932, in Surry County, the daughter of the late Lunie Alma and Sarah Frances Terrell Hiatt. Margaret retired from Cross Creek Apparel and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Robin Culler of Mount Airy and Gary and Sandra Culler of Pilot Mountain; her grandchildren, Gerald and Tiffany Culler, Shasta and Richard "Sweet Pea" Jackson, and Brandon and Cindy Culler; her step-grandchildren, Robert Webb and Richard and Melissia Webb; her great-grandchildren, Whitley Shuford, Emily Mace, Tori Culler, Bailey Simmons, Madison Dotson, Bennett Culler, and Emerson Culler; her great-great-grandchildren, Cooper Shuford, Jackson Mace, and Memphis Simmons; a sister, Roberta Whitaker of Siloam; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Pam Hiatt of Williston, South Carolina, and Lonell and Becky Hiatt of Mount Airy; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Frazier was preceded in death by her siblings, Hazel Elizabeth Hiatt, Calvin Columbus Hiatt, William Clyde Hiatt, Patricia Mae Hiatt Caudle, Rhumell Hiatt Humphries, Carimae Ilene Hiatt Macey, Sarah Lou Hiatt, Doris Ann Hiatt, Roena Ree Hiatt Johnson, Raymond Terrell Hiatt, and Sadie Dianne Hiatt. The funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 6, at 3:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Bishop John Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in the W.C. Hiatt Cemetery.
