Mary Frances Ladd Snow, 70, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, peacefully in her sleep at her home. Mrs. Snow was born in Surry County on July 2, 1950, to the late Alfred Lee Ladd Sr. and Ellen Frances Edwards Ladd. Mary was a strong and hard-working mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She took pride in cooking for everyone especially her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Snow Marvin and Wesley of Mount Airy, daughter, Crystal Snow Hicks; son and daughter-in-law, Tony Lee Snow; eight grandchildren, Daniel Arrington, Cory Arrington, Brianna Arrington, Kayla Bowman, Kelsey Bowman, C.J. Bowman, Eli Hicks, Abby Snow; five great-grandchildren, with a sixth one on the way; sister, Martha Ladd Easter; brothers Phillip Wayne Ladd and Misty, Bobby Joe Ladd; sister-in-law, Pat Bean Ladd; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held, Saturday, Dec. 26, at 2 p.m., at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the family.
