Anne, the wife of my cousin Paul, and I communicated over e-mail for a number of years. I always found her messages to be upbeat and filled with love of her family.
May her children and grandchildren find comfort in the fact that Anne lived a life of love and purpose.

To the Thurmond family, I'm deeply sorry for your loss, I saw her a few years back at Stokes market, we walked by each other and she said my name, I hadn't seen her in decades, we talked for 10 minutes , she got me all caught up. I'm forever greatful that is saw her and have thought of her often since, RIP Anne.

Dear Thurmonds, Your mother was very kind and patient. And, even though she already had a large family to feed, she would always make a seat at the table for any visitor. I hope you will be comforted by the memory of her many good deeds and her full and remarkable life.
