Aric Lewis Obituary
Aric Edward "Mister" Lewis passed away on August 25, 2025. Aric Lewis was born on November 12, 2006, to Heather Hackman and Nathan Lewis at St James Hospital, in Butte. Aric attended grade school at West, Emerson and Kennedy Elementary Schools then transferred to East Middle School. After graduating from East, Aric attended Butte High and graduated in the class of 2025. Months later Aric applied to become an apprentice plumber with the plumbing union having passed the exam in the top 5 and was well on his way with a plumbing career.
At the young age of 14 Aric started working at Perkins Restaurant before switching to Oasis Casino and Restaurant in October. While working fulltime he still made time to work part time with his father Nathan Lewis at their business Fishes Mobile RV Repair.
Growing up Aric spent his time camping, fishing, hunting at his Dad's hunting camp, hiking, playing one of his many guitars, writing music, boating on Georgetown Lake, numerous trips to Country Jam living life trying to pack as much as he could into every moment.
His love for music stemmed from childhood, starting with a plastic guitar playing country, singing from his soul with his dad right beside him to mastering Metallica, a musical taste he inherited from his stepfather, Josh Allen. His natural talent even brought him to playing live in front of people.
When Aric was sixteen he passed driver's education and became independent with a driver's license. His first drive by himself after getting his license had been his stepdad's 4th Gen Chevy Silverado, the beginning of a love story.
The 1998 Silverado was his baby, there was nothing he loved more than driving down dirt roads, windows down, music up, sunset in front of him and his best friends beside him. With Boogie, B, and Brendan at his side they cried, laughed and made memories that will never fade.
Aric has had many pets in his life, but none stole his heart quite like his dog Bailey, his "Baby Girl".
He loved many things in life, his dad's barbecue, his stepdad's advice but most importantly his mama. He kicked in her belly and stole her heart, there will never be a love stronger than that between a mama and her boy, love at first sight.
Aric is preceded by his Grandma Ellen, Grandma Fran, Grampa Ed, dogs Bailey, Bob, the refugees, and Aunt Tracie Dobb.
Aric is survived by his mother Heather Hackman and stepfather Josh Allen. Father Nathan Lewis and stepmother Katie Lewis. Big sister Hope Lucier and brother-in-law Cody Lucier. Little sister Serenity LaPier. Stepsisters Jenn Schimming Jess Schimming, Kassie Weist and Stephanie LaPier. Uncle William Hackman (best friends more like brothers), Braxtyn Bauer, Brendan Maloney, Kody Hamilton. Nephews Tre Lucier, Zaidyn Lucier, Cody Lucier Jr, Zac Sevores, Noah Seitzinger. Nieces Faith Lucier, Brinley Bernardino, Kehlani Alder. Grandparents Paul Laird, Jane Lewis and Debbie Laird.
It is important to mention that there are so many people that Aric knows, loves, and thinks of as family that we would struggle to fit them all on this page.
