Cowboy Normady Obituary

Cowboy Pete Normady died peacefully July 3, 2007.

Born July 23, 1931, Cowboy Pete was Aleut Indian and an Alaskan native.

He was taught from a young age to work hard, which he did as a ranchhand most of his life.

Cowboy's smile would light up the room. He was well liked. He enjoyed having cocktails with friends at the Main Street Lounge and having a good time in general.

He had an amazing sense of humor.

Pete, may you rest in peace. You will be sadly missed.

No services will be held. He has no known survivors in this area.

Cowboy Pete was a friend of mine from the good old days, I have known Pete since I was 15, now I am the age of 53. Pete, Frank, Pauline, Lorraine and Lorna were our next door neighbors for years and when they moved we all lost contact with one another. The memory of Pete will always bring a warmth to me for he was a special man and I thought of him as a dear friend. You will be missed Pete.
