Donna Rae, 82 passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2021 in San Diego, CA. She was born on November 19, 1939, in Butte, Montana, daughter of Raymond Malloy and Mary (Powell) Malloy. Donna Rae went to high school in Butte, Montana. After high school she met Donald Ernest Strong from Anaconda, Montana and they married in 1956. They then settled in Santa Clara, California. Donald opened up his own Electrical Business, where Donna worked as an Office Manager for their business. Donna Rae and Donald have 2 children, a son Dale Eugene Strong born in 1957 and Daughter Denise Renee (Strong) Lozano in 1970. Over the years Donna enjoyed going on car rides with Donald, going on the family hunting trips, enjoyed spending time with the family, playing Pinnochle Cards, enjoyed crocheting and traveling as well. Donna Rae was always there to lend a helping hand to family or her friends. She enjoyed having family get together's and watching everyone having a great time.
In 1993, Donald Strong passed away unexpectedly. In 1995, Donna Rae decided to sell her home and move down to El Cajon, California. Where she met Frank Sladek and spent the next 19 years with Frank and his family. Frank passed away in 2013. Surviving relatives to Donna, is her brother Ronald Malloy, sister-in-law Rosemary Malloy, their children and grand children living throughout Montana. Her son Dale Eugene Strong and daughter in law Susie Strong from Lompoc, California. Her Daughter Denise Renee (Strong) Lozano from Lakeside, CA.
Denise's, son Eric Lozano and his wife Kenzie, their son Kingston, El Cajon, Ca. Denise's daughter, Samantha Lozano and her husband Austin Van Slyke and their daughter, Kayleigh Van Slyke, El Cajon, CA. Donald's sister, Janey Gates, from Florida. Donna Rae's greatest enjoyment later in life was spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on May 27, 2022 at 9:00 am, Sunset Memorial at gravesite in Anaconda, Montana.
