Harry O'Rourke Obituary

Harry Edward "Rocky" O'Rourke died peacefully Wednesday morning, Jan. 31, 2007, at his home in Butte.

He was born June 16, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Thomas H. and Luella M. O'Rourke. He attended schools in Pennsyl-vania and served his country in the Army. He married Carol Therese O'Donnell in Las Vegas, where they raised their family. Rocky worked for Las Vegas-Tonopah-Reno Stage Lines. He and his wife retired to Butte in 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Carol of Butte; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Tom Hardesty Jr. of Butte; son, Michael O'Rourke and his girlfriend, Patti Metheny of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Janeece August of San Diego; grandchildren, Amanda O'Rourke, Sean O'Rourke, Jacob Hardesty and Brett Hardesty; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Jeannie O'Donnell of Las Vegas; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Jim and Ray O'Rourke.

Harry's remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment will be in Fort Harrison Veteran's Cemetery.

Carol and Family,
The O'Rourke's in Colorado Springs are saddened by the loss of our Uncle. There were times when he was like a father to me and those are the times I will remember. You are in our prayers. Dave, Clancy, Riley and Conor.
