Helen Dorothy Rebich, 89
November 28, 1931-August 17, 2021
Dorothy passed away August 17th in Barrett Hospital with all her family by her side. She was born November 28, 1931 in Butte, Montana to Joseph and Helen (Malensek) Perusich. On May 16th, 1948 she married Edward Rebich in Dillon, Montana this union lasted until Ed's passing 53 years later. Dorothy attended Holy Rosary in Butte her first year then she attended Greely School in Butte, Whittier in Butte, and then Hamilton High School to finish her education.
Dorothy served as treasurer for the Beaverhead Senior Citizens, was on the BASS board, member of the American Legion, helped at the Dillon Food Bank, managed the Community Basement with her good friend Laverne Carroll for 13 years. She was nominated for Outstanding Woman of the year.
She was a life long member of Saint Rose of Lima Parish.
Her favorite sport & passion was bowling. She went to the Nationals in Las Vegas.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-laws Helen & Randy Tommerup, June & Ron Ratliff, Joan & Dave Dickson, Bonnie & Merlin Blevins; son and daughter-in-law Edward & Tylene Rebich. Grandchildren David & Kristen Tommerup, Brad & Kim Tommerup, Teresa & Rob Larson, Brandon & Heather Ratliff, Ronda & Mark Jensen, Carolyn & Russ Hamilton. Dawn & Jake Buttery, Jonathan & Amber Dickson, Melissa & Nolan Johnson, Mark & Bridget Blevins, Miranda & Kevin Hedstorm, Edward Rebich, Traci & Garth Ginder, Jason & Christa Anderson, Travis & Shayna Cioffi and 44 Great Grandchildren. Sisters Shirley & Tom Reynolds, Roberta & Steve Weech and Carol & Jim Steinborn.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Ed Rebich, parents Joe & Helen Perusich, two brothers Jim & Joe Perusich, and four sisters Irene Hobson, Marie Corcoran, Darlene Ray, Beverley Barber and Great Granddaughter Ella May Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Sunday August 22nd 4:00 PM-6:00 PM followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:10 PM Monday August 23rd at the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Rev. Jason Souza officiating. Graveside Services will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Dillon and followed by a luncheon at the Saint Rose of Lima Family Center.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foundation for Prader-willi Research, Barrett Home Health and Hospice or a charity of the donors choice.
