Michael McGinley, or as I knew him, spec 4 Mac McGinley served with 1/2 Armorded Cavalry Regiment in Bindlach, Germany. I was Adjutant and Mac was in S2. I remember him as a freckle faced kid from Montana who brought levity and laughter to our HQ unit. I tried to locate Mac several times but was not successful. Sorry to be late and not get a chance to talk with him. He made my time fun

many childhood memories come to mind when I think of Mike. The McGinley were always intermixed with the Thomas" one way or another. Mike was always kind and friendly to me, especially on the bus ride ,on children's day. He was a big part of a vibrate family, with and unrelenting since of the ridiculousness of the human condition.
