Thomas Martin Ferriter Sr., 78
December 22, 1945 - January 9, 2023
Thomas Martin Ferriter Sr. was called from this world at age 78, to go Home to be with his Heavenly Father, on January 9th in Butte MT. Born December 22nd, 1945, Thomas experienced a life to be respected and celebrated. He attended St. Anns School, El Camino High School, and Humboldt State University. A man of many achievements, Tom managed Jack LaLanne's health clubs, was director of the Butte YMCA, and many times over the Salesman of the Year at C & S Chevrolet.
With a voice that will forever keep the drive alive, he handed us the goal, taught us the determination, and passed down the stubbornness it takes to be "Ferriter Tough". A mountain of a man, who grew up as a football-champ and body-building stud. He became an uncommon and unshakable, self-sacrificial father, that only God Himself could have coached. A life poured out for his family, there will forever be a piece of him in each of us. Demonstrated how to play the game of life and proudly fought for his family, he never flinched and stuck through it all. You are Home now Dad. Until we meet again, take care and rest easy. Always know how much WE LOVE YOU!
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille (Mulholland) Ferriter, siblings: Jack Ferriter, Donald (Sharon) Ferriter, Rudy (Rose) Ferriter, Julie (Mark) Krueger, Audrey Jean Turney, Kathleen (Larry) Tuxill, and twin daughters: Ashley Morgan and Morgan Lucille Ferriter. Forever cherished and survived by his companion, Dawn Ferriter, children: Shannon Davies, Felicia (Allen) Brazier, Thomas (Aliona) Ferriter, Landon (Shayna) Ferriter, and Kaydon Ferriter. All his beloved grandchildren: Greg, Blake, Buzz, Ryan, Samsara, Saraya, Silas, Jaden, and Saoirse. Also, great-grandchildren, Finn, Jace, and Allie. Thomas will be missed by innumerable nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held January 28th at Butte Brewing from 2-5PM. Close friends and family are welcome to attend. Please RSVP by text or call if possible 406-459-3602.

I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing......I was lucky to reconnect with Tom about 2 years ago....we were on the El Camino High football championship team together, and we played against each other when I played at UC Davis and Tom played for Humboldt St.......what a guy......he was a year ahead of me and I always looked up to him......he was a fun guy, but he was tough, really tough, and respected by all of his friends and teammates......when we talked a coiple of years ago, a lot of what he did in life came up and I was awed by his life's accomplishments......it was fun to catch up and he was one of a kind.......rest in peace my friend Ron Wheatley

I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I met Tom several years ago. He was a good customer of mine at Safeway in the Floral department . He came in every holiday to buy an arrangement from me. He was such a joy and so very kind. He always gave me a piece of candy when he came in. My deepest sympathy to his family. I will miss him coming in to get his flowers and visiting with him.

So sorry to hear about Tom's passing, he was definitely one of a kind. I had the pleasure of working with him many years at the Chevy store in Butte. We had many many laughs together with all the shenanigans we used to pull. I am glad I will always have those memories. Rest in Peace my friend. Fred J and Melissa Turk

I am so sad about Tommy. Just talked to him and hoped to see him this summer. He was so much fun. So few first cousins left.

Love and Hugs to you all. He truly was such a character and will be missed. I cherish the time I spent with him as a child. His presence with us when his brother Jack passed was such a comfort. I know they are all together now. Bless the Ferriter Family.

So shocked as he just called me early January to wish me happy new year. He always remembered his friends and would call to see how we were doing. He always told me Butte stories and shared his life stories. He will be missed by all!
