I attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with Tom. We lunched together almost every Monday through Friday and became great friends. He was a marvelous person--smart, caring, and incredibly humorous. As I think of Tom a big smile comes over my face. Rest in peace, my old friend.

So sorry to hear about the passing of dear Mr. Satterthwaite. I was in his German class throughout high school, and took part in the German exachange. This was one of the most influential times of my high school years. I'm so grateful to him for what he offered his students. He was also the most entertaining teacher to listen to and have a rich discussion with! Peace to all in his family. Thank you for everything Mr. Satterthwaite!

So sorry to hear of Mr. Satterthwaite's passing. He was one of my favorite teachers in Butte high. He always made class so fun and you let there laughing about the conversations we would have in German class. He was a wonderful man. Even years after being out of high school I would run in to him and he would always make sure to give you his big smile and a hello!! He will be missed.
