Margaret Ann Fetters

February 25, 1947 - June 30, 2025

MUSCATINE – Margaret Ann Fetters, 78, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the University of Iowa.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Ss. Mary Mathias Catholic Church. The Reverend Chris Weber will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m., on Friday, July 4, 2025, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Ss. Mary Mathias Catholic Church. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.

Margaret was born on February 25, 1947, in Missouri, the daughter of Joseph and Willa Golden Fleak. She married Larry E. Fetters on February 21, 1964, in Edina, Mo. She worked 30 plus years at the Muscatine County USDA Farm Service Agency. Margaret was a member of the Ss. Mary Mathias Catholic Church.

Margaret was a world class homemaker. Margaret was an avid fan of Indiana Fever and Hawkeye basketball. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, and was an outstanding cook. Margaret was a very happy and social person; she never met a stranger. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved spending time with them.

Margaret is survived by her two sons, David (Debbie) Fetters, and John (Glenda) Fetters; three grandchildren, Benjamin (Kalee) Fetters, Rachel (Dan) Dostal, and Jaime Kincaid; six great-grandchildren, Casper Fetters, Atlas Fetters, Gracie Esmoil, Reese Esmoil, Calista (Jacob Peterson) Kincaid, Mason Kincaid; one great-great-grandchild on the way; brothers, David (Sharon) Fleak, Robert Fleak, and Alex Fleak; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; and sister-in-law, Linda Fleak.
