Though we did not know Mr. Wilkey, we always saw him at Home Depot at the checkout line. What a pleasant man, always had a smile and was very polite and courteous. We will miss him at the checkout line. Sounds like he was quite a man.

We remember Richard as a very kind and very helpful person, constantly thinking of others before himself. Had many interactions with him as my wife and myself spent years working with him at The Home Depot in Grand Haven. He loved people. Lived a full life. By his actions, he demonstrated the purpose of loving your neighbor as yourself. We will miss you sir.

Richard was so very kind and loving-he I would visit him at Home Depot with my GSD Sergeant Major, who he loved giving attention to. Richard told me that he used to own GSD´s and was such a wonderful man and had a very friendly and calming presence. Sarg and I will miss him.
