Barry Lee "Bear-Bear" Gearhart

Barry Lee Gearhart, lovingly known as "Bear -Bear," was born on November 9th, 1982, passed away on August 14th, 2025, and is deeply missed by all who knew him. Barry went to Hazen High School and worked at Brambleberry. He was a kind, caring, and strong person with a big heart. He was always checking in with friends and family to make sure they were doing okay, and he never failed to make people laugh. His family and friends will always remember the fun times they shared with him, especially silly string fights and nerf gun wars. Barry loved spending time outdoors, cooking meals, and working in the garden. He enjoyed watching wrestling, cooking shows, and crime shows. He is survived by his father, Norman Gearhart; his sisters Becky (Kenneth) Rynning and Beatrice Gearhart; his nieces Jillian McCandless, Jordyn Hein, and Ava Wright; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Barry is predeceased by his mother, Janet Gearhart; his nephew, Hunter McCandless; his grandparents Jerry and Betty Gearhart, and Francais and Joy Shaw; his grandfather James "Jim" Darrow; his uncle Russell Gearhart; and his aunt Donna Gearhart. Barry's memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him. He will always be remembered for his compassion, strength, and the love he gave to others.
