Clara Little Obituary

Clara "Jean " Little at Whatcom Hospice House, Jean passed away on August 19th, 2025, at the age of 94, due to injuries from a fall. Jean was born on November 13th, 1930, in Norfolk Nebraska to Clarence & Katie Richardson. Her family moved to Bremerton when she was 12 years old. It was there that Jean met her future husband Cecil. Cecil joined the Marine Corps. in 1946 and asked Jean to join him. They were married on September 13th 1946 and had a long and fruitful 69 years of marriage. Jean worked at the USPS for 16 years before retiring. They moved to Anacortes in 1980, where Jean enjoyed sewing and crafting in her years of retirement. Creating several beautiful quilts while assisting Cecil with his woodworking, scroll saw pictures and glass garden flowers. Jean was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Madrona Chapter #89, Ana Sam-Chapter of Good Sam & Kiwanis. Jena is survived by Lee NItka (Cliff) daughter, Carol Roberts, daughter, Larry Little (Olga), son, Cecil Little Jr. (Jacquie) Son. AS well as 13 grandchildren, 24 great grand children and 2 great great grand children. She was preceded by Cecil Little (husband) and Roger Little (Elizabeth) son. There was a family gravesite service at Washington Memorial Park in Seattle.
