Clark Haan Obituary

Clark Charles Haan, age 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Clark was born on February 15, 1942, in Bellingham, Washington to Charles and Alice (Hoksbergen) Haan. He married Elaine Korthuis on July 27, 1962, in Lynden, Washington. Clark graduated from Lynden High School in 1960. The family moved from Lynden to Edgewood, Yakima, then back to Lynden. Clark worked for Stanley Door for many years before starting his own business Cascade Door. Clark enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and traveling in their RV. Clark will be greatly missed by his wife Elaine, children Bruce (Janele) of Ferndale, Brenda (Gary) of Federal Way, and Brent (Roselynn) of Graham; grandchildren Tyler (Hannah), Austin (Ashley), Brandon (Anna), and Olivia; and great grandchildren Kinsley, Kooper, and Beckett. Sisters Connie and Carlene, pet Abby, along with many friends and extended family will also miss Clark. The Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025, in Greenwood Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Gillies Funeral Home and Cremation Services. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Clark, please visit our floral store.
