Janet Ferguson-Forslof Obituary

Janet L. Ferguson-Forslof passed away on June 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, independence, and love. She will be remembered most for her deep passion for sewing and her love of travel, which brought joy and beauty into the lives of those around her. Janet had a long career in commercial sewing, where her talent and dedication were evident in every stitch. Outside of work, she found joy in her favorite pastimes: sewing, cross stitching, reading, baking, and riding motorcycles with her brother, Daniel. Her creative spirit and adventurous soul touched everyone she met. Family was at the center of Janet's heart. She is survived by her loving niece, Athena C. Deskins; great-nieces, Cesailly, Haylie, and Danielle Deskins; nephews, Gary and Rodney Forslof; and sisters, Nina Jenkins, Anne Willis, and Ondia Durovich. She was predeceased by her brother, Daniel W. Forslof. Janet's legacy lives on in the memories she created and the lives she enriched through her strength, creativity, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed.
