ALBA LUCIA CASTRO AGE: 48
NORTH PLAINFIELD
Alba Lucia Castro 48, died Monday (Dec. 29, 2008) when she was struck by a car as she was walking across Rt. 22 at the intersection of North Drive. Born in Columbia, Alba came to the United States in 1984 and lived in North Plainfield the past 12 years. She was co-owner and chef at Mi Buenaventura Restaurant in Plainfield.
Surviving is a daughter, Jessica Angulo of North Plainfield, and three sisters, Maria Rosa of Plainfield, Ana Luz Ortiz of North Plainfield and Nelsa Mosquera of Elizabeth. Burial and services will take place in Columbia. Visiting hours will be today, Thursday, January 1, 2009, 7-9 p.m. at the Scarpa Funeral Home 22 Craig Place, North Plainfield.
