Dear Abby,
I can not put into words what to say to you at this moment. It has been a long time since we have talked or seen each other. I regret that it is at a time like this in which I here about your whereabouts. It just so happened a friend and former Timothy parent told my mom and then she in turn told me. It brings back memories of Alex and all the fun and mischief he brought. When you saw a twinkle in his eye you knew something funny or crazy was coming next you just didn't know what. I will be praying for you and your family.
Peace

Hi Abby,
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Alex. He has come to mind so many times over the years. I will be praying for you and your family. I will never forget the time he took the lead in a middle school musical playing the part of Jehoshophat...so out of his comfort zone until he got it all figured out...then he "stole the show!" I will be praying for The Lord's strength for you! Love, Ruthy Brookman (alias "Miss Sutter" TCS)

God Bless Alex's family, friends and all of the others that he met throughout his short life. Alex was the type of person that even just meeting him you feel as if youve known him for years. I had the pleasure of meeting Alex at the Saints vs Giants game in 2005 and met him a couple more times down in NOLA. He was a great man and will be missed by all. Rest in peace my friend. Abby & family,
We were so saddened to hear the news - and we are so thankful that our lives connected through one coonhound named 'Deuteronomy'. And every time Deuteronomy does his handshake and 'gives us five', we know it was because of the determination and training by Alex. We thank the Lord for your friendship and for bringing your family into our lives - you are so special - to the Lord and to us! May God lift you all up during this time of trial. We love you and Deuteronomy sends you a 'high five'.
