Amy Zandomenego Sub

AGE: 46 • Ewing

Amy Zandomenego Sub, 46, passed away from breast cancer Monday, December 3, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Amy was born May 28, 1966, the daughter of Louis E. Zandomenego, Sr. and Ann Saunders Zandomenego. She was graduated from Edison High School, Edison, NJ 1984, and Rider University 1989 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1998. She was employed by Arthur Anderson, Amerada Hess, McGraw-Hill and Merrill Lynch. Amy was a long-time member of Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville in Lawrence, NJ, having served as a deacon and supporting the LOGOS children's program. Over the course of Amy's illness she was active in many charities and causes raising awareness and funds to win the fight against breast cancer. She was a devoted member of the Machestic Dragons breast cancer dragon-boat team. She took part in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure and volunteered with the Breast Cancer Resource Center - YWCA Princeton, and always looked for ways big and small to make a difference in the fight. Through her many walks in life she had many friends who will always remember her bubbly personality and great smile, which she was always more than happy to share with those she loved and who supported her in not only her illness but her life. Above all, Amy was a devoted mother to her two children. They shared many special times traveling together and supporting one another through sad and happy times.

She was predeceased by her father, Louis E. Zandomenego, Jr. She is survived by her two beautiful children, Sedona (Sadie) Rose Sub, and Julian William Sub; her mother, Ann Zandomenego; her sister Katherine (Andrew) DeNicola; her brother Louis (Robyn) Zandomenego; her sister Gayle Schlett, her sister Beth (James G.) Vittor, 11 nieces and nephews and their families; and innumerable friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sat., Dec. 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main Street, Lawrenceville, NJ. In honor of Amy please wear something pink. At Amy's request, donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Resource Center - YWCA Princeton or Princeton HomeCare Hospice Program.
