Anthony Roque Obituary
Philadelphia - Anthony M Roque, 33 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formerly of Woodbridge, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at his residence.
Anthony was born in Edison and raised in Woodbridge before moving to Philadelphia. He was an alumnus of Woodbridge High School, Class of 2002 He was employed by Kite & Key Restaurant as a bartender for 6 years. His love of the arts, including drawing, painting and playing his guitar for family and friends.
Anthony is survived by his loving parents Antonio and Alice ( nee Gossenberger ); adored Maternal Grandparents Herman & Louise Gossenberger; beloved brother of Edward "Petey", Michelle, Janet, David Roque, Jennifer and her husband Bijan Rastegarpanah and Miriam Martinez; cherished Uncle of Sarah & Kayla Simon and Aaron Rastegarpanah.
We begin to leave on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 8:45 am from the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy for a funeral mass at 9:30 am at the Good Shepherd Parish at Our Lady of Most Holy Rosary Church. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visiting is on Monday from 5 ~ 9 pm. The family respectfully requests that the services be attended by family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, in keeping with Anthony's passion for the arts, we asked that donations in the memory of Anthony can be made to the Community College of Philadelphia, 1700 Spring Garden Street Annex 7 Floor, Attn: Jean Kemper, Philadelphia, PA 19130. Please note in the memo his name.

This is Luis Pinto (Vitito) Ralph and Norma Roque's nephew I want to send my deepest condolences to the Roque family You are all such a great family I love you all so very much I pray that the Lord brings you peace through this difficult time. We will see Anthony again in heaven. He is an angel watching over us with Jesus right now. God bless you all .
