Arthur E. Mohr "Pop", 76, of Metuchen, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Hackensack, he resided in Metuchen for 48 years. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Metuchen. He worked at Ballantine Brewery in Newark before becoming a Salesman for various truck and bus part companies , most recently for Kline Automotive in Linden for the past 10 years. Arthur was an Army Veteran, stationed in Hawaii. He was an avid Nascar follower, a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan and enjoyed fixing cars. Arthur liked to watch Westerns, especially John Wayne films. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and hosting holiday barbecues. He is predeceased by his brother Robert Mohr. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Robin Mohr; his children Arthur Mohr and his wife Kim of Spotswood and Sharon Huff of Edison; three grandchildren Robert Huff, Daniel Mohr and Kyle Huff and one great grandson, Robert Liam Huff. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Ceasar, Bella and Eyckie. A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 10:00am at Costello-Runyon Funeral Home, 568 Middlesex Ave (Rt.27) Metuchen (costello-runyon.com). Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9.
