Barbara Mary Baldino Davis

AGE: 77 • Red Bank

Barbara Mary Baldino Davis, age 77 of Red Bank died peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Neptune Rehabilitation and Care Center in Neptune. Born in Long Branch, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Barbara graduated from Asbury Park High School and participated in the Experiment in International Living. She later earned a Bachelors in Education from the New Jersey State Teachers College at Trenton (The College of New Jersey) in 1956. Barbara taught the children of US military families in the Department of Defense Dependent Schools on bases in Italy, Germany and France during the 1960's. She returned to the Long Branch school system where she taught until she retired. Barbara was a member of the Oakhurst United Methodist Church in Oakhurst.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Baldino. Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Robert and Patricia Davis of Red Bank; her sister, Jeanne Killian of Oakhurst and a grandson, Benjamin Davis.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday July 31 at 10 am at Oakhurst United Methodist Church, 103 Monmouth Ave, Oakhurst. Interment will be at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Tourette Syndrome Association, Inc., 42-40 Bell Boulevard, Bayside, N.Y. 11361. The Damiano Funeral Home, Long Branch is in charge of the arrangements.
