Barbara Higgins Obituary
AGE: 58 • Edison
Barbara Fazio Higgins, 58, of Edison, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark. She was born in Bayonne and has resided in Edison for the past 36 years. Barbara was a nurse at Carrier Clinic in Belle Meade. She was a graduate of Edison High School and loved to play poker.
Barbara was predeceased by her sister Karen Foster. She is survived by her husband, Michael, her children, Joseph and Stacey Higgins, of Edison, and Dana Higgins, of Fords, her sister, Christine Blackford, and her grandson, Michael Popola.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 2-4pm at the Flynn and Son/ Koyen Funeral Home 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen. A prayer service will be offered during the visiting period. Please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss. My memories of your wife and mother were back when she came to MN for her mother's marriage to my brother. We are about the same age and Bobbi, Karen and I had a fun time on the farm. I know she will be missed.

I enjoyed the short amount of time that I knew Barbara playing poker with her. Oh how she loved to play poker. And she was a gracious winner and loser. God Bless her. We will miss her.
